Ti Kaye Village, tucked away on the remote west coast of St Lucia, is one of a number of lovely independent, small St Lucia hotels. In French Creole the name Ti Kaye means ‘small house’, and that is just what the rooms at Ti Kaye are, very attractive wooden cottages in traditional Caribbean style, with pretty gingerbread fretwork and verandas slung with two-person hammocks. They are set on the hillside high above a delightful secluded beach on the calm Caribbean Sea.

Meet & Greet Of the two airports in St Lucia George FL Charles airport just north of Castries is closer to Ti Kaye (about 40 minutes), but unless you are arriving from another Caribbean island you are more likely to arrive at Hewanorra in the very south of the island (80 minutes).
If you are travelling independently and wish to pre-arrange transfers to the hotel, a Concierge Service is offered by St Lucia Representatives. If you are booking through a travel organiser, it is likely that they will their representative will be at the airport to meet you. This service and your return airport transfers should be included in the cost of your holiday. Please check at the time of booking. |

Getting Around It is probably best to hire a car if you want to explore from Ti Kaye. On St Lucia we recommend Cool Breeze Car/Jeep Rentals, which has outlets in Soufriere and in Castries and Drive-A-Matic. They will deliver the vehicle to the property if you book in advance and issue your St Lucian driving licence, price EC$54. You can return the car to the airport or they will collect at a pre-arranged time on your departure day.
Be aware that around Christmas and New Year, and at the Jazz Festival in May, there can be a shortage of cars in St Lucia, so you are advised to book well in advance. Also book early if you want one for a week or more because the pre-booked rates can be better. |
