Golden Caribbean is a specialist Caribbean tour operator with the ability to sell flight only tickets on Excel Airways flights from the UK into the Caribbean. The services operate each week from London Gatwick to three islands - St Kitts, Grenada and Tobago (twice) - and offer some of the best cheap flights to the Caribbean. Their service is ideal for independent travellers because they are able to create a flexible itinerary and package, or just sell the flight seats on their own.
Based near Gatwick, Golden Caribbean offers seats on wide-bodied Boeing 767s, which are configured with two classes over the winter season. The premier class, Excel One, has an excellent reputation - within a competitive arena - for its comfort and service at a good price. Excel One seats have a 45 inch seat pitch and an individual TV screen and there is a good menu and wine list. In the summer the planes are configured with three classes, with Premium Economy in between Excel One and Economy.
Flight Summary
Excel currently operate two flights a week on a ‘triangular’ routing, each touching two of their destinations. They fly from London Gatwick to -
Tobago - Thursday, Saturday
Grenada – Thursday (will change to Sunday later in 2006)
St Kitts – Saturday
Flights depart from Gatwick in the mid-morning and arrive in the Caribbean in the mid afternoon. It is worth noting that from St Kitts you should be able to make onward connections to other islands in the North-eastern Caribbean, Nevis of course, but also Anguilla and the BVI for example. |
