The Caribbean has traditionally been thought of as a couple’s destination, but as more and more people travel with their families, so the possibilities have become better for holidays with children. Hotels have opened up kids’ clubs - a few hotels are designed specifically for them - and on land more activities and tours have been created with children in mind. Sailing trips are also extremely popular. In addition to the hotels that cater for children, there are of course many villas that are well set up for them, with toys and all the electronic hardware needed to keep them quiet...

A delightful group of plantation style villas set in 2.5 acre hillside grove above Stonehaven Beach on Tobago’s north shore. Perfect for families, weddings and reunions, extremely friendly staff.

Children
Plantation Beach Villas is nicely set up for children. Although there are no formal programmes for children, the staff will set up barbecues for you in the garden and help to entertain them. The beach bar has a selection of board games, as well as badminton and volley ball. Paddles and balls for beach tennis are available, along with a selection of sand toys, ie. shovels, rakes, buckets and sand moulds. Children under 12 yrs stay free of charge on a roll-away bed. Cribs and highchairs also provided free of charge.
